Sailing in the Whitsundays HD – Part 3

And here it is! Part 3 of our series Sailing in the Whitsundays just hit YouTube.

In this episode we leave Thomas Island and head back to North. We visit Hamilton Island, the only really inhabited corner of the Whitsundays, Gulnare Inlet and Sawmill Bay. From there, we climb up to Whitsunday Peak, the highest point of the Whitsundays, that offers a breathtaking 360 degree view on all the islands.

If you do not understand Italian, remember to turn on the English subtitles (CC). Enjoy!

Sailing in the Whitsundays HD – Part 2

It’s winter in our hemisphere, but it is summer on the other side of the world! Here is Part 2 of our series Sailing in the Whitsundays.

In this episode we visit Chance Bay on Whitsunday Island, Pentecost Island, Plantation Bay on Lindeman Island, Neck Bay on Shaw Island and finally we set in a solitary anchorage at Dead Dog Bay on Thomas Island.

Missed Part 1? You can find it in a previous post.

Don’t forget to turn on the English subtitles (CC) unless you are proficient in Italian! 😉

Sailing in the Whitsundays HD – Part 1

Here is the first episode of our series Sailing in the Whitsundays. We didn’t yet own Kismet at that time, so we chartered a small Seawind XL1000 sailing catamaran.

In this episode we set off from Airlie Beach, visit Nara Inlet, stop in Chance Bay and enjoy the amazing white sand and transparent water of Whiteheaven Beach.

Enjoy and don’t forget to turn on the English subtitles (CC) in case you need a little help with our Italian.

Marco and Desirée
